Recommended Children’s Books on Teeth
The Maryland Dental Action Coalition has released a list of 22 recommended children’s books on oral health. What a great way to increase information on oral health to families and introduce children to concepts like visiting the dentist and taking care of teeth.
The list, developed by an interprofessional group that reviewed over 50 books, will be a great resource for anyone working with children. Those interested in early literacy and oral health may also want to check out the American Academy of Pediatrics program Brush, Book, Bed.
