Wayland, MA Votes to Continue Water Fluoridation

The town of Wayland, Massachusetts has decided to continue its practice of adding fluoride to its water to provide caries prevention to its residents. Following testimony for and against the practice, the Board of Health voted 3 – 1 in favor of the practice. The town will set the level of fluoride in the water supply at .7 milligrams per liter of water, the proposed recommendation put forth by the US Department of Health & Human Services.
