Grassroots Advocacy Efforts Protect Community Water Fluoridation
The remarkable grassroots advocacy efforts of Dr Johnny Johnson, a pediatric dentist in Florida, are highlighted in the January/February 2013 issue of Today’s FDA (Florida Dental Association). Dr Johnson’s efforts succeeded in overturning a 2011 decision to cease fluoridating the water supply for more than 700,000 residents by the Pinellas County Board of Commissioners.
