BoyDrinkingWater-243x300.pngMay 3-9, 2015 marks more than 35 years since the American Water Works Association and its members began celebrating Drinking Water Week. This event provides a unique opportunity for both water professionals and the communities they serve to join together in recognizing the vital role water plays in our daily lives. Celebrating Drinking Water Week is an easy way to educate the public and connect with the community.

During this celebratory week, join the Campaign for Dental Health in recognizing this event by raising a glass of fluoridated drinking water and toasting to the health benefits that fluoride provides in protecting oral health. Community water fluoridation remains critically important as tooth decay affects more than 90% of Americans by the time they reach their adult years.
